CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) - Embarking on a mission that scientists have been dreaming of since the Sputnik era, a NASA spacecraft hurtled Sunday towards the sun on a quest to unlock some of its mysteries by getting nearer than any object sent before.
